After several years of extensive research and the recruitment of historians, photographers and other experts as contributors, we (editors Heinz Patzak and Werner Honal), are now completing a travel and art book about the Patzak \/ Pac\u00e1k family of Baroque sculptors. The English language book is titled
„Journeys in Bohemia\u2019s Inspired Landscape\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201eOstb\u00f6hmens beseelte Landschaft: Die barocken Statuen der Bildhauerfamilie Patzak<\/strong>\u201c soll 2024\/25 unter der Herausgeberschaft eines deutschen und eines tschechischen gemeinn\u00fctzigen Vereins erscheinen. Vor der Ver\u00f6ffentlichung in deutscher und tschechischer Sprache beantragen wir einen Zuschuss des Deutsch-Tschechischen Zukunftsfonds DTZF, um das Buch in die H\u00e4nde von Studierenden zu legen, damit diese die au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnlichen Beispiele barocker Bildhauerei in Ostb\u00f6hmen kennen und sch\u00e4tzen lernen k\u00f6nnen .

All proceeds from the sale of this book will help to underwrite the publication of a more extensive book on the same subjects, in both German and Czech versions.
(None of these three versions is a commercial project; the editors and contributing authors are working gratis.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEast Bohemia\u2019s Inspired Landscape: The Baroque Statues by the Patzak Family of Sculptors\u201d)<\/a> is scheduled for publication in 2024\/25 under the editorship of a German and a Czech non-profit association. Before publication in German and in Czech, we are applying for a grant from the German-Czech Future Fund DTZF<\/a> in order to put the book into the hands of students, so they can learn about and appreciate these exceptional examples of Baroque sculpture in East Bohemia.
If they realize the importance of preserving this artistic heritage, they will help save it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
